Tiny Treasure
Let’s kick off the year making cute things
This clay experience will consist of 2 separate days ( you must attend both sessions ) These dates will be on Sundays while the store is open
Feb 4th at 1 - 3:30 pm at Verde Plant Design - this is the class where we make all of our pieces - You’re welcome to bring templates or cookie cutters!
-think brooches, magnets, ornaments or charms ( I am happy to glue brooch backing on your finished pieces ) but I am not able to provide with any extra hardwares or bases -you will be responsible for obtaining those materials and finishing that part on your own)
Follow up glazing class is Feb 11th at 10am -12;30pm at Verde Plant Design
There will be lots of fun glazes to choose from!
Please note that gold or lustre finish will not be provided ( this requires and extra kiln firing and is not something that I can teach - it requires a respirator, can be harmful and is $$$ )
Please select $5 local pickup - your packages will be ready within a week or two of the second class ( if your pieces are brooches I can glue on the backings - you are responsible for magnets, earrings or other hardware )
You are welcome to create up to 8 pieces total
Please know that clay shrinks approx 10%
Try not to create pieces that have delicate appendages - these are harder for me to transport back to my kiln - also know that ceramics are tricky and can sometimes not work out - please keep your expectations fair ( I’ve been creating for 7 years and I sometimes lose a piece or 2 )
I will not be teaching any of my original designs - this class is for you to express yourself :)
Tools will be provided. ( shorter nails are recommended / don’t wear fancy clothes )
Class max is 10 students
class fee is non refundable / please stay home if you are sick
Class fee is $155 ( this is for both sessions )
